Netgear EX7300 setup manually
- Plug the Wifi range extender into a power outlet.
- Set your wireless extender near the router.
- After a few moments, the power light should turn green.
- Press the power button if the light does not come on.
- Launch a web browser on a computer or laptop and type www.mywifiext.net and press enter.
- Now your screen displays the Netgear extender login.
- Follow the on-screen guidelines to connect your extender to your existing Wifi network.
- Then, unplug the extender and move to the new location.
- Your extender is now ready to use.
Note- You must choose a location that is within range of your existing Wifi router network
Netgear EX7300 setup using the WPS method
- First, make sure your extender is plugged into a power outlet.
- Turn on your EX7300.
- Place the wireless extender next to the router.
- And wait for your extender’s power LED to turn the green light.
- Now press the WPS button on the extender.
- And also Press the WPS button on the Wifi router.
- Now your extender EX7300 will show a solid green light It indicates that the connection between the router and extender is good.
- If the Router Link LED does not show a green light, try again.
- Now you can move your extender to the new spot.

Some troubleshooting steps for Netgear EX7300 configuration
- Check that the URL typed in the search bar is correct if it is incorrect So type the valid URL mywifiext.net
- During mywifiext login, only use the most recent version of the web browser.
- If you are typing the wrong IP address in the search bar, please type the correct default IP address i.e., 192.168.1.250.
- The most common issue faced during the setup is an outdated firmware version. So first, update your firmware.
- Make sure that the wall plugs into which the extender is plugged are not damaged or short-circuited.
- Keep your extender away from aluminum studs, microwave ovens, fish tanks, wireless phones, and metal items.
- At last, reset the Wifi mesh extender to its factory default settings.
How to reset Netgear X4 Wifi extender?

- Take a pin or paper clip.
- Find the reset button on your extender.
