  • Connect to the EX6100 with an ethernet cable.
  • You can also connect wirelessly.
  • Place your extender near the router.
  • Open any web browser like Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Then type the default web URL of your extender into the search address bar.
  • The Netgear setup page is now displayed on your screen.
  • Connect your extender to your existing Wifi network by following the on-screen instructions.
  • Unplug the extender and relocate to the new spot.

Note– Please keeps in mind that you must select a place that is within range of your existing Wifi router network.

WPS method of Netgear EX6100 Setup

  • Before starting, ensure that your extender is hooked to a power socket.
  • Set your extender near the Wifi router.
  • Wait for the power LED on your extender to turn green.
  • On the extender, hit the WPS button.
  • Click the WPS button on the Wifi router.
  • Your Netgear EX6100 Setup will now display a solid green light. It signifies that the connection between the router and the extender is stable.
  • If the Router Link LED does not illuminate green, try again.
  • You can now move your extender to the new location.

  • Install the Netgear Wifi extender.
